Position Purpose: Provide direct patient care within an assigned unit under the supervision and delegation of
the Registered Nurse, practicing within their scope, standards, policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties

o Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
o Perform delegated and ancillary basic nursing skills, including activities of daily living, monitoring of
patient condition, body mechanics, providing nutritional support and other standards of care, policies and

all patients, staff and vendors.

o Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions)
o Must be able to legally work in the United States
o Must be able to pass a background check
o Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable)
o Must complete employee health meeting
o High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
o Valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate
o Current BLS Certification
o Med/Surg or Long Term Care experience preferred
