Job Summary - a concise overview of the job

The Contracts Management Attorney will provide timely legal counsel on contract management matters enterprise-wide under the direction of the Senior Counsel. The Attorney will strategically and efficiently lead, coordinate, facilitate and manage contracts requests across multiple business segments through the provision of legal counsel and support and will also provide legal support for non-contract related matters to the branded business. The role will manage implementation of the Endo contract management process, including use of Team Connect. In addition to leading support for the contract management process, the position will, in coordination with in-house and outside counsel, provide regulatory and commercial legal support to assigned areas of the U.S. Branded Pharmaceuticals business.

All incumbents are responsible for following applicable Division & Company policies and procedures.

Scope of Authority - span of control (work unit, site, department, division, etc.), monetary value of budget/spend authority ( capital, operating, etc.), P&L responsibility, etc.

Contract Management

+ Operate with considerable independence in consulting, advising, and representing the Company on a variety of highly complex legal matters.

+ Serves as the day-to-day leader of contract management processes, with strong project management skills, legal analysis, and quality standards.

+ Provides appropriate legal advice and counsel to business colleagues to assist the Company in managing risk with respect to contract-related matters.

+ Review policies, standards, and procedures for contracts management.


U.S. Branded Pharmaceuticals Legal Support

+ Provides appropriate legal advice and counsel to business colleagues to assist the Company in managing risk with respect to commercial legal matters


Special Projects

+ Assist with other special projects as assigned





Education & Experience

Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience and certifications required for the job

+ Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school required.

+ Bar admission in Pennsylvania.

+ Minimum five years senior level experience with vendor or other third party contracting at law firms, corporate legal departments, or other service providers required.

+ Previous attorney position at law firm, corporate legal department or other relevant service provider.


Proficiency in a body of information required for the job

e.g. knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.

+ A deep understanding of pharmaceutical contracting across various business segments, including R&D, Commercial, and corporate support areas (e.g., Finance, IT, etc.).

+ Understanding of laws and regulations applicable to pharmaceutical marketing and commercialization.

+ Understanding of contracts management programs and requirements.

Physical Requirements

Physical & mental requirements e.g. lift 40 pounds, walk across plant/warehouse, business travel (% of time), driving as part of work responsibilities, etc.
