Primarily responsible for processing, analyzing, negotiating and collecting disputes related to quarterly Medicaid Rebates for approximately 2,000 products and 51 state entities for 8 Labeler codes for a total of 1, 227 quarterly invoices (shared with approximately 8 other analysts).
All incumbents are responsible for following applicable Division & Company policies and procedures.

§ Serves as the primary point of contact for approximately 136 state entities and is responsible for all communication and dispute resolution.
Rebate Analysis & Processing
§ Processes Medicaid Rebates and validates against Company pricing.
§ Coordinates Medicaid Rebate data with data entry vendor and perform review for accuracy.
§ Coordinates the approvals process, including compiling backup documentation, initial review and follow up.
§ Responsible for processing Medicaid rebate payments in Model N system, including the identification, analysis and resolution of erroneous claim data.
§ Analysis of Medicaid Rebates including variance analysis to prior periods, trending and outlier review.
§ Follows up with Accounts Payable on payments issued and to ensure each file is completed as required.
§ Works on ad hoc projects as necessary.
Education & Experience
Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience and certifications required for the job
§ Bachelor’s degree required with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Math preferred.
§ 1-3 years of internship or professional experience in a corporate setting, preferably in a Government Pricing, Finance or Accounting Department.
Proficiency in a body of information required for the job
e.g. knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.
§ Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Model N, and JDE.
§ Strong understanding of the Medicaid rebate process, state contracts and pharmaceutical products.
