Pricing and Contract Manager







Position Summary







Catalent is looking to recruit a Pricing and Contract Manager to join a growing team in Woodstock, IL.







The Pricing and Contract Manager is responsible for the management and administration of pricing and contracting activities to support the Woodstock Sterile Technologies business. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with Business Development (Sales), Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain/Customer Service to develop, implement, and maintain standard processes and analytics to support revenue growth and profitability initiatives.







The Pricing and Contract Manager role is critical to our patients. In concert with Catalent’s Patient First philosophy, this position is key in our efforts toward continuous improvement of our processes & information which will allow quality drug products to reach patients safely and efficiently. Quality, safety, and on-time delivery is a must to be successful in this role!







The Role





+ Facilitate contract and pricing implementation, monitoring, compliance, and analysis



+ Administer pricing strategies, annual price adjustments, customer notifications, and J.D. Edwards (ERP system) maintenance



+ Support the development and implementation of tiered pricing models, annual price/fee maintenance processes, RFP/Quotation price responses, contract renewal management, and other commercial life cycle pricing and contracting initiatives



+ Consult with legal and finance to draft specific contract language that meets business objectives for pricing and associated business terms



+ Develop and present performance report metrics (scorecards) for contractual obligation tracking for Customers and Catalent



+ Develop, maintain, and analyze monthly revenue tracking mechanisms for proposals and contracts to support accuracy of revenue forecast data



+ Support the Technical Proposal Lead and Customer Service with customer requests for proposals/RFPs, coordinate proposal/quoting activities, support negotiations, and administration of contract terms









The Candidate





+ Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus



+ 5+ years’ experience in general contract administration, pricing, commercial operations, or analytics required; experience in the Pharma CMO industry and finance is a plus



+ 2+ years’ experience setting and administrating pricing, pricing policy, or in a role where pricing was a key component of customer interactions and negotiations required



+ 2+ years’ experience with performing maintenance, running queries, and analyzing data in ERP solutions required; relevant experience with J.D. Edwards is a plus



+ Must possess strong mathematical abilities, a keen analytical mind, and expert level Excel skills
