*_Position Summary_*

This position provides Client Technology administration and support in a health care setting such as supporting PC and printer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and peripherals. Seeks to understand and address customer needs and expectations through effective communication and collaboration. Works independently and shows initiative in resolving intermediate support issues and requests and escalates complex issues to more senior members of the team to ensure timely resolution. Coordinates the operational role for low complexity projects and works closely with the Business Technology Directors and the Director of Client Technology. Conducts research on new technology as requested. Understands Ethernet topology and IP communications. Develops and maintains educational and training material for clinical staff. Ensures that inventory is managed routinely and consistently. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.

*_MinimumEducation Requirements_*

High School diploma or GED required

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred

*_MinimumExperience Requirements_*

* 2+ years of technical support experience required; preferably in a health care environment

* Customer service training/experience with relevant certifications is highly desirable

* Strong technical, analytical, communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to utilize coordinated processes to provide high quality systems, infrastructure, and technology support.

* General understanding of technologies and troubleshooting process.

* Ability to work an on-24X7 support on a rotational basis, required.

* Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer care.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment



* Preferred certifications include:

* A+ Certification

* Network+ Certification

* ITIL Foundation

*_Position Duties (essential functions denoted with an * )_*

* Responsible for and held accountable for creating, resolving, - basic technical support at the workstation level – basic remote access solution implementation and support. *

* Log and resolve support and provide status updates to users within agreed SLA timeframes. *

* Act as a first point of contact for all hardware, software and other IT related issues. *

* Monitoring, managing, troubleshooting, and restoring service to client personal computers (PCs) or laptops that have authorized access to the network. *

* Confident knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards. *

* Assist in system documentation maintenance review – Communication with end-users as require; keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impeding changes or agreed outages. *

* Researching and recommending hardware and software products appropriate to customer business requirements. *
