**Providence is calling a ( Full Time/ Day Shift) Contract Coordinator at our Providence Medical Institute location in Torrance, CA.**

**In this position you will:**

+ Provide research and support activity to Providence Medical Center Administration Contract Services.

+ Resolve and/or assist routine legal questions under the direction of the System Attorney in the Office of Legal Affairs.

+ Independent judgment and decision making are exercised in the performance of responsibilities.


**Required qualifications for this position include:**

+ Organizes, prioritizes, and manages duties and assignments in a time effective, and works independently with minimum supervision

+ Works well with clients, attorneys, and executives staff in a team environment, and work independently with minimum supervision

+ Organize and analyzes documents and maintains control of large quantities of document and files.

+ Maintain the security of sensitive and confidential information.

+ Perform limited factual and legal research

+ Perform work in an efficient and cost effective manner.

+ Uphold a high level of ethical standards.

+ Strong research, organizational, and follow up skills

**Preferred qualifications for this position include:**

+ Two years of hospital or medical group, or physician contract preparation experience

+ Hospital Contracts experience

+ Good verbal and written communication

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, Selectica Program

Historically, the largest asset has been Providence Medical Institute, a medical foundation that provides administrative and other support services to affiliated medical groups.
