Job Summary The DevOps/System Administrator builds applications that run both in AWS and internally. This position takes ownership of the current environments as well as design and develop future environments. This individual also is required to work along side a small highly skilled agile development team.



Essential Functions

Employee must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the C-I-CARE Standards of the Hospital. C-I-CARE is the foundation of Stanford's patient-experience and represents a framework for patient-centered interactions.



Manage live systems working along side management, developers and QA.

Jointly lead development activities including release management and configuration management

Management and implementation of security policies.

Server and hosting planning and configuration.

Domain management both internal and external.

Management of Vendors.

Incident response, recovery and change management.

**Qualifications**



Minimum Qualifications



Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a directly-related field from an accredited college or university



Experience: Three (3) or more years of experience as dev ops/system administration.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education, or licensure/certification.



Expert UNIX skills.

Strong experience of AWS.

Strong experience of Mongo and MySql.

Experience with Adobe CQ.

Experience with Repository management using Nexus or Artifactory.

Experience with Atlassian on Demand CI using JIRA, Bamboo, Bitbucket and GIT.

Experience with Configuration management using either Chef or Puppet.

Experience with deployment and use of monitoring tools.

Experience with deployment and management of Search Engines like Lucene or Google.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to lead and build a strong team.
