Position Summary







Catalent is hiring a Manufacturing Training Lead to join our growing Packaging team in Bloomington, IN. This is a 3rd shift position.







Catalent’s Bloomington location provides drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services. This award-winning facility helps customers accelerate biologic drug development programs and bring better treatments to help patients live better, healthier lives.







A Manufacturing Training Lead will be responsible for implementing training process for all new and current department personnel. Will train personnel at appropriate workstations, production floor, training labs and in the classroom. Will also assist in developing and updating current training processes, materials and methods of training. Reports on current training status.







The Role





+ Provide consistent, structured training to assigned department staff.



+ Develop and initiate improvements and assessments for existing training content, and implementation of new training measures.



+ Assists in the development of a Continuous Improvement plan to achieve organizational goals relating to new hire and incumbent employee training.



+ Partner with Training Department and Department Leadership to manage and develop training content and evaluations supporting department goals.



+ Identify potential opportunities for improvement with the Continuous Improvement team at the site and company level.



+ Initiate and manage training workshops, practicums and performance-based assessments.



+ Consult with and support the training department, designated trainers and department leadership.



+ Possess and applies excellent written and verbal communication skills.



+ Provide 1:1 training, coaching and certification of employees.



+ Partner with Training, Department Managers, Human Resources to develop key performance indicators (KPI/KSAs) as they apply to the roles and goals in the department.



+ Ensure Catalent Quality Systems, cGMP/cGDP rules and practices are consistently followed and implemented.









The Candidate





+ High School/GED



+ Bachelor’s degree preferred.



+ 2+ years of experience of direct pharmaceutical manufacturing experience or equivalent leadership experience.



+ GMP experience preferred.



+ High attention to detail, self-motivated, takes initiative and has grit.



+ Knowledge of and proficient in MS Office Suite and Enterprise Resource Programs









Physical Requirement





+ Visual Acuity (20/30 corrected vision).



+ Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day.



+ Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, handling, grasping.



+ Occasional climbing ladders/steps walking up inclines and uneven terrain, stooping, kneeling, crouching, writing, bending, turning, balancing, carrying, listening.



+ Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
