Occasional travel to other sites to meet the needs of the clinic may be required.

This position will be a .2 FTE, preferably working on Thursdays.



During the term of this Agreement, and subject to the policies, procedures, protocols, system, controls and regulations of Hospital and CHPG, Physician shall perform the following duties:


• Coordinate medical staff activities to maintain state and federal regulatory standards.

• Physician Performance Oversight:

* Physician patient satisfaction

* Physician performance management and behavioral refinement

* Quality and peer review oversight as it interfaces with CHPG processes

* Address patient complaints as they relate to the providers

* Oversees the physician monitoring process to provide adequate information for physicians’ re-credentialing and ensure patient safety

• Participate in compliance programs

• Attend CHPG meetings as required by CHPG Chief Medical Officer (“CMO”)


• Function as a liaison between medical staff, the CHPG CMO and CHPG Leadership, and Hospital leadership to communicate administrative concerns, decisions and planning. Address concerns of medical staff in appropriate administrative meetings and through administrative team. Resolve issues promptly and completely.

• Operations Improvement:

* Participate in strategic planning for designated clinic(s) and sponsoring facilities

* Advise in development of integration practices between clinic, Hospital, home health, or other appropriate division

* Participate in the development and implementation of LSS/EMR

* Participate and lead system-wide initiatives e.g. Colorado Health Neighborhoods

* Rapid Cycle Change Implementation regarding quality and operational re-design

• Support integration of Centura initiatives across the continuum of care


• In conjunction with CHPG strategy, drive utilization management

• Partnering with the senior operational executive to created budget plans with a goal of cost containment


• Physician Staff Development:

* Monitor provider capacity and identify current or future needs for full-time or part-time physician positions

* Actively participate in physician recruiting

* On-boarding and mentoring of new physicians

* Annual Physician Performance Assessment utilizing current accepted process

* Ensure appropriate clinical supervision of midlevel providers


• Participate in professional organizations, local committees and CME events in order to stay abreast of change and opportunities in the medical industry

• Maintain working relationships with other physician clinic programs

• Participate in strategic planning at the system wide and local level

• Identify new technologies and treatment modalities and implement within strategic plan


• Participate actively in community associations promoting a positive image of the physician clinic and serve as a team player in organizational marketing and strategic planning programs.
