Eligibility*







Associates are eligible to apply for an open position if they are:



1. Active in their current position for at least six months or have manager and HR approval to be released early;



2. Ratings meet expectations or higher on their PFD review;



3. No written warning or Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) within the last six months unless their manager receives approval from HR; and



4. Continuous sustained improvement is demonstrated.

*_Position Summary_*







Responsible for resolving regulatory and commercial accounts. Facilitates the analysis and research of EOB’s to problem solve outstanding accounts. Analyzes credit balances and issues refunds as necessary.







*_Minimum Education Requirements_*









* High School Diploma or GED required









*_Minimum Experience Requirements_*









* 2 years computer experience, strong customer service skills.



* Prior office experience in a healthcare environment, medical terminology, and the ability to multitask and prioritize, preferred.

*_Position Duties (essential functions denoted with an * )_*









* Performs account review to resolve regulatory and commercial accounts.*



* Researches outstanding accounts by partnering with peers, vendors, and patients.*



* Generates letters to patients for COBs or to obtain additional account information.*



* Maintains escalation logs of accounts sent to patients and vendors for easy follow up.*



* Partners with facility peers to resolve any edits or communicate any additional information needed to collect outstanding accounts.*



* Utilizes problem solving skills to coordinate with revenue management team issues that may arise as it pertains to billing.*



* Researches outstanding issues to assist in the facilitation of timely account resolution.*

* Sedentary Work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert/lift up to 10 lbs. force occasionally)
