**Job Description**



Job Description:

The Project Engineer is responsible for managing all project related documentation required, inclusive of that received from and sent to the contractor, architect, and internal staff. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the control systems and document distribution matrix developed for this purpose, including distribution of construction documentation to all appropriate persons. Whereas the Project Engineer will be under the general supervision of the Project Manager, they will be expected to fully manage and provide leadership over the document control process.

Employee must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the C-I-CARE Standards of the Hospital. C-I-CARE is the foundation of Stanford's patient-experience and represents a framework for patient-centered interactions.



· Scan, distribute and file documents to the appropriate archival repository

· Verify and correct where needed, the incorrect archiving of all files

· Prepare documentation which is organized, accurate and clear

· Develop working knowledge of OSHPD forms and process

· Develop and maintain log of all incoming and outgoing documents and correspondence

· Organize and file construction documents while having an attention to detail

· Provide initial review of pay applications, change orders and other incoming construction documents

· Other duties will be assigned as needed

**Qualifications**



Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.



Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Prefer Bachelor's Degree in work related field.



Experience: Three (3) years of progressively more responsible and directly related work experience.



License/Certification: None

· Ability to utilize project selected management tools

· Knowledge of technical and professional requirements in the fields of healthcare delivery, architecture and building design process and construction

· Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with and gain cooperation from widely diverse groups, including individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization
