*_Position Summary_*

The Training Coordinator for the Professional Development team is responsible for providing logistical and administrative support for professional practice, education and medical assistant clinical training for the Centura Health Physician Group (CHPG). This individual will support the online learning management system and ensure that our associates complete the necessary assignments. Responsible for the coordination of student placements and will maintain the professional development SharePoint site.

*_Minimum Education Requirements_*

* High School Diploma or GED required

*_Minimum Experience Requirements_*

* 2 years’ experience in healthcare.

* Must be able to work independently.

* Strong organizational skills and communication (verbal and written) skills required.

* MS Excel and SharePoint experience strongly preferred.

* Project coordinator or administrative support experience preferred.


* Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or

* Licensed Practical Nurse

* American Heart Association BLS.

*_Position Duties (essential functions denoted with an * )_*

* Provides oversight of the learning management system (LMS)for CHPG to include assigning learning modules, preparing reports and compliance reports. Will follow up with leaders and HR for past due assignments. Transfers content to the LMS as provided by content experts.

* Coordinates student placement for CHPG clinics by following the student placement policy. Facilitates student placement between schools and the clinics. Maintains worklist in student placement management system. Responsible for preparing reports and coordinating with IT for student EMR training.

* Maintain and update CE direct associate lists and prepares CE direct reports as requested.

* Maintain professional practice and education SharePoint site as directed. Ensure that the education calendar and tool-kits are available.

* Acts as proctor for medical assistant certification exam as required by the proctor contract.

* Maintains associate proctoring records as indicated by the certification organization.

* Provides clinical education training and support for CHPG medical assistants as needed and directed.

* Assists with medical assistant certification review course as needed.

* Will perform site visits to clinics as needed for educational training and support.

* Assists with CHPG mentor course as needed.

* Provides logistical support to ensure that there are training rooms and materials as needed.
